Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!
I’m so so so excited! Nathan and I have decided to go on a vacation! (Nathan says don’t tell people when, for safety purposes).
So, anyhow we’re going to road trip to the Pacific Northwest (which deserves to be in caps). We’re going to stay for SEVEN days at the Quinalt Lodge in Olympic National Park!
This is a what it looks like:
It was built in 1923 I believe. I am EXCESSIVELY excited and I have a checklist:
Save Money! Money not spent now is money I can use on the trip!
Lose weight and get fit! Lots of trails for exploring in the park!
Research! I am building a trip binder! I’m a binder/planner freak and I have all I need to make a nice binder/planner/guide!
Get Binky (our car’s name is Binky) shipshape and up to snuff!
Sort out pet care!
Try not to drive Nathan crazy with my enthusiasm!
We have AAA (the membership of which is an annual Christmas gift from the folks… Thanks, Mom and Dad (it’s such a generous and useful gift)! And have already mapped out our route. I wish AAA still did those flip page triptiks: remember those? I have great memories of going to AAA with my Dad to get a triptik and guide books. Now, we’ll just use the app.
Ok, I’m getting out of hand with the exclamation points, again, but HONESTLY! How exciting is this!!!
OLYMPIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
(oh, yeah, get to see Sam too, that’s nice as well.) (Ha. Gonna squeeze the stuffing out of him.)
