Days One and Two

Hey y’all from Wyoming! The first day was a LONG driving day, which actually went by really fast because I was knitting and we were listening to the book Billy Summers, the new on by Stephen King, which is VERY good, and I strongly recommend it. Last night we slept in Bismarck, at a nice Hampton Inn. Today we drove lots, but also visited Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota: here are some pics.

And then we carried on, stopping at a rest stop at one point:

It was an 80 MPH zone for a while, and boy did that seem FAST!

We ending up in Cody, Wyoming in a very nice Best Western Premier Ivy, where we met this guy:

We are both tired, and are going to bed to read. At Roosevelt we got a lovely thick biography of TR. I just love a good, thick book, don’t you? Tomorrow we are exploring Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons. We’ll be at this hotel for three nights.
