Park Project Continues
The great Park Project continued this weekend! Last weekend we went to Walking Iron Park:
And yesterday we went to Anderson Farm Park, which is Outside Oregon (Oregon, Wisconsin, not Oregon the State!)
Nathan has such a weird expression on his face! LOL! He often mugs for the camera when I want to take a picture of him. Silly man, I love him so much.
We also stopped at the Duluth Trading Company Outlet store outside of Belleville. Nathan got some hiking shoes! I also got some shoes (I wanted some slip-ons that would be comfortable in the car.)
They’re sturdy and I love love the color. I feel like they look like Scandinavian elf shoes. They’re a clog type in the back. I got used to wearing clog-type shoes when I was working as a barista. All I wore were Danskos. These new shoes give me all the hygge feels.
Trip planning is still going on, though we’re not actually going till the Fall. Oh, goodness it is so good to have something to look forward to! These have been a long few years for Nathan and me, and we deserve this. Nathan especially. The trick now is to hold on to the enthusiasm without a. burning out, b. losing the enthusiasm or c. boring anyone.
